Air Cargo Is Big Business


    Air cargo is a $40 Billion industry. During the next 20 years, cargo traffic is expected to
    more than triple, out-pacing passenger growth and offering airlines even more
    opportunities to generate revenue.

    While air cargo currently accounts for 13% of air transport revenues, some passenger
    airlines are earning more than 30% of their revenue from cargo.
    In today’s competitive environment, cargo offers a significant source of additional revenue
    – revenue that can make the difference between profit and loss.
    Air cargo is already growing faster than both gross world domestic product and
    passenger traffic, and this trend will continue.
